Shirodhara with Abhyanga Treatment (Mental Clarity Treatment)

This Ayurvedic relaxation treatment helps to stabilize the mind and calm the nervous system.

Shiro means “head” and dhara means “the pouring of oil like a thread.”

A warm stream of herb infused oil is poured continuously and steadily over the Ajna Chakra (third eye), the region between the eyes, to induce an inner clarity and deep state of relaxation.

This treatment quiets the mind and the senses, which allows the body’s natural healing mechanisms to release stress from the nervous system.

The herb infused oil calms and nourishes the nervous system by opening the prana (life force) channels in the head.

For best results Shirodhara is given for thirty minutes three times a week.
