Abhyanga Treatment

Abhyanga, is an Ayurvedic bodywork treatment that serves to bring the body back into balance.

Warm herb infused oil is massaged into the skin and marma points (energy points in yogic healing) are stimulated to assist the body in regaining health and balance.

Ayurvedic medicated herbal oil helps to clears the body channels and helps to remove ama (toxins) from the body tissues.

Abhyanga serves to ward off fatigue, pain, stagnation and helps to promote calmness, clarity, flexibility, stability, and remove toxins.

All treatments end with therapeutic application of heat.

The main purpose of swedana (therapeutic heat) is to dilate the body’s channels so toxins can be removed, and healing herbs can penetrate into and rejuvenate deep tissues.

Abhyanga can be full body and/or localized to a specific area depending on your condition.

One 30 minute Abhyanga Session is $75
